Saturday will also be the Antique Faire down on Second Street, east of Garey. More info at Metro Pomona. Who knows, you might find a cool citrus label like this one.

Saturday morning is also the Farmer's Market at Garey and Pearl where you can buy oranges as pretty as the one above from Dave the Orange Guy (last stall to the east).

Saturday night will be the last Saturday of the month Art WAlk. Okay, this gets confusing. It's not the final one, it's just on the last possible Saturday of the month. The Art Walks have been so successful that they are now being held twice a month, so maybe this will be the weekend you finally make it out to people and art watch.

Hula Hooping in LIncoln Park on Saturday at 10 a.m.

And don't forget that next weekend is Yard Sale Weekend.

Too much Pomona, too little time.

THE END

Actually Jonnie Owens is from the Cal Poly Downtown Center, which is a different facility than the DA. The Downtown Center website is: http://www.class.csupomona.edu/Organizations/downtowncenter/

I spent the evening with my girlfriend at last night's Art Walk. As veteran art walkers, we were especially interested in the turnout for what is know I guess Fourth Saturday.

Well, we did get out a bit late but attendance was low and some galleries/studios were closed. I wonder if the extension of Art Walk has the full support of the Arts Colony? Nonetheless, the DBA had its closing show of the incredible art being produced the Pomona Unified students and the DBA was quite the cool, hip space filled with art and music. I'll continue to support the extension of the Art Walk and I hope others will too but we'll have to wait and see.
