Speaking of Memorial Park, this postcard was for sale on ebay. It identifies itself as a park on Second Street in Pomona. I assume this is what Memorial Park used to look like. Seems it was quite nice, back in the day. Memorial Park recently installed a war memorial that looks very cold and corporate looking. Nothing like the heart felt one in Garfield Park.
