Thanks to Larry Egan over at Metro Pomona for informing me that Pomona Baking Co. isn't the only new business about to open downtown. The Locust Lounge, which is a new restaurant next to Pomona Baking, is scheduled to open this Friday. Also trying to open any day now is the Brick Nightclub.
There's also the Yellow Door Cabaret, but why read about it on here, when you can go to Metro Pomona's new blog.
Oh, and there's another work party tonight (Thursday) at 6:30 at the Lincoln Elementary Community Garden. I have a conflict, but please come out if you can and be a part of this community building project.
And not to be out done, there's still hooping in Lincoln Park every SAturday at 9 a.m.
