Anyone else noticed that Pomona has a lively new independently owned gas station called Fuel It Up. It's located at the corner of Arrow and Garey and is connected to Pomona Auto. They recently painted the place neon yellow and blue, making that corner kind of reverberate as you drive by. I like their catchy signs (it looks like they have very nicely incorporated an Islamic moon into their logo). I also liked how they matched the colors to the nearby Pomona Rancho Market.
Given that both of the gas stations at Garey and the 10 allow patrons and employees to smoke cigarettes freely in the pumping area, I think I'll be fueling it up at "Fuel It Up" from now on. Maybe I'll see you there?
