Well, it's official, I'm no longer the only person blogging about Pomona. Last night, I discovered M-m-m-my Pomona (as in Sharona), authored by a couple that just moved into a house in Lincoln Park from L.A.'s Koreatown. I am elated to have company in the blogosphere, especially since Pomona is so gosh darn bloggable. Welcome to the neighborhood M-m-m-my Pomona.
I also recently discovered a blog called Claremont Insider. It's loaded with interesting info about our ugly stepsister Claremont. And, Foothill Cities blog also covers Pomona subjects from time to time. In fact, there is a bit of a controversy going on right now betwen the Foothill Cities blog and Pomona's very own city attorney (except he's also the city attorney of several other cities as well as it turns out). Apparently, the Foothill blog made a post about some rumor involving Pomona's city manager. As a result of that post, the Foothill Blog received a cease and desist letter from the Pomona City attorney, despite the fact that numerous court actions have upheld blogger's freedom of speech. The situation pissed off the Foothill Blog enough that they made it their personal mission to run a series of stories/exposes about our City Attorney. Check it out here.
