Today's photo was uploaded to flicker by edanatheredon. It shows damage inside the Cal Poly Pomona library after the Pomona Quake of 2008.
Did anyone have the creeping suspicion that the epicenter of the quake was actually in Pomona, but that Chino Hills sounded so much more civilized to the powers-that-be? Okay, perhaps that's just my Pomona inferiority complex showing again.

I don't get it, why would we want to claim an earthquake? lol. Let Chino Hills hold title of it. That way, people will think earthquakes are Chino Hills' fault. lol. Earthquakes are a bad thing, we don't need to associate Pomona with anymore bad things, wouldn't you agree Goddess?
Quakes never hurt San Francisco's image.
