There's a new blog in town, and it's....(drum roll please):
The Pomona Public Library Children's Department Blog.
I received word today from Miss Lois (Pomona's storylicious children's librarian) that they have indeed launched a blog to promote their department, programs, and books. And knowing Miss Lois, I'm sure she'll manage to get a cat story in now and then.
Miss Lois tells me that her posts will be aimed at child readers, while the other librarian's posts will be geared toward parents. Seems Miss Lois will be doing her part to raise up a whole new crop of Pomona bloggers and blog readers.
Pomona now has several blogs blogging about Pomona, all of which are displayed in my right margin.

and now, the much anticipated Pomona Public Library Children's Department Blog.
What will be next? The Pomona Motor Inn Blog? (Their sign boasts of high speed internet access and I just have this feeling that somethings in the works.)
As for the idea of having a Blogging Pomona float in next year's Xmas parade, it looks like we are going to need a much larger flat bed than originally planned. Now scoot over Meg and David to let Miss Lois on board.
