Pomona Election Results : No They Didn't

Elliott Rothman for Mayor got 49.43 percent of the vote. Paula Lantz was at the top for Pomona City Council 4 with 43.04 percent of the vote, Debra Martin nosed out the Torres' child for the Stephen Atchley seat with 29.96 percent (Atchley came in fourth!), and John Nolte, the only candidate to get over fifty percent of the vote, heartily defeated Danielle Soto for the district 1 seat. So we kept two of the candidates supporting the trash transfer station, got rid of two, but gained two that oppose/d it. And John Mendoza got the water board seat with 48 percent of the vote.

Sixty percent of Pomona voters voted for Library Measure X, which isn't enough to meet the two thirds requirement. So our library will again be in dire straits. And none of the other Pomona measures passed either.

THE END And here is the rest of it.

Thanks for posting, although very depressing overall. I couldn't find the results anywhere else. Glad I thought to check you blog.
